The Journal of Language and Education (JLE) is committed to providing open access to high-quality research in the fields of language, education, and cultural studies. To support the operational costs associated with the publication process, JLE charges a modest author fee. This fee helps to maintain the journal's high standards and ensures that the published research is freely accessible to readers worldwide.
Author Fees
Article Processing Charge (APC)
- Amount: Rp. 300.000,-
- Purpose: The APC covers the costs of peer review, editorial processing, copyediting, typesetting, and online hosting of the published article.
Payment Process
- Timing: The APC is payable upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication. Authors will receive an invoice with payment instructions once their article has been accepted.
- Method: Payments can be made via bank transfer or other methods specified in the invoice. Detailed payment instructions will be provided to the corresponding author.
Fee Waivers and Discounts
JLE is committed to supporting authors from diverse backgrounds and ensuring that financial constraints do not impede the publication of quality research. The following options are available:
- Waivers: Full waivers may be available for authors from low-income countries or those facing significant financial hardship.
- Discounts: Partial discounts may be granted on a case-by-case basis, depending on the authors' circumstances.
